We are excited to kick off 2018 with our Disciple Now weekend event, February 16-18. DNow is a weekend where we carve out 3 days to hear what God has to say in a focused environment. This year we will be looking at God’s wisdom on dating and intimacy. The world’s approach to dating and intimacy leaves many students and adults with scars and baggage they were never meant to have. We will walk through the Old Testament book, Song of Solomon, where the creator of intimacy reveals to us what it is designed to look like between a man and a woman. Students and parents will come out of this weekend with a Biblical understanding and foundation of God’s intention for dating and intimacy, as well as beautiful picture of a wedding night worth striving for.
Activities will take place at FBCF and in the surrounding community. Students will be placed in family groups lead by amazing college leaders and stay in host homes for the week-end. On Friday evening we will be going as a group to Altitude Trampoline Park in Texas City. Please see below to complete the required waiver. Students will find out their host home locations and schedule on Sunday, February 11th. The weekend will conclude following the 11am service on Sunday, February 18th.
