Sunday Worship - 9:30 & 11:00 AM
God deserves our highest praise. When we choose to participate in that endeavor, God receives the honor He rightly deserves and we become one voice. When the body of Christ is unified, wonderful things can happen. We take seriously the principle that Worship is not a song or a moment or a set list, but instead, a lifestyle reflecting our obedience to His will. Sunday gatherings are an outpouring of the time we have spent with God throughout the week. At both the 9:30 am and 11:00 am service, you will hear us SING. Colossians 3:16 reads, "Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." Both services are led by First Baptist Friendswood's Worship Band and Vocalists. For special events, a choir and small orchestra join us in leading His church. Attending a new church can be intimidating at first, so we do our best to make your visit to First Baptist Friendswood a good one. We encourage you to arrive early and find Guest Central located in our Worship Center. There is guest parking on Pecan Dr. directly in front of our Worship Center. We know finding a new church home can be a difficult thing to figure out, but don't worry. In fact, here are a few tips to get you started:
- Feel free to dress casually or dressy - we have no dress code - whatever makes you comfortable is great with us.
- Sit anywhere you like, there are no assigned seats.
- Beware of friendly people - someone WILL speak to you.
- Your kids are safe - our Children's ministry teams are well-trained to provide the best possible care for your kids.
- The messages are designed to be relevant - you just might learn something!
- We aren't after your money - guests are encouraged to enjoy the visit with NO expectation to give.
- The service lasts about an hour.
